Schedule:

3 shifts/week: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

OB call shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 AM (OB not required but preferred)

Includes weekend and holiday call coverage

Patient population: Adult, pediatric, and neonatal

Trauma Level: III

EMR: Paper charting

Skills required: General, adult, pediatric, neonatal, trauma, spinal, regional, obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular, complex ortho, vent management, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, arterial line placement

Must be located at least 90+ miles from facility
Practice Setting

Requirements

Board Certification: Not required

Active Alabama license required (not open to licensing)

Fellowship preferred

Certifications: ACLS, BNDD required

Credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
