Anesthesiologist (MD) Opportunity – North Carolina
📍 Location: Hospital-based (North Carolina)
🗓 Start Date: ASAP
📅 Duration: 6 months
🔍 Position Details
Schedule: 8s, 10s, or 12-hour shifts
Call: No call required
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
License: Active North Carolina license required
Care Model: Care Team (Supervisory with option to run own cases)
EMR: Cerner + AIMS
💼 Case Volume & Mix
CV Cases: 10–15/day
General Cases: 3,500–4,000/month
Case Types:
OB (high volume)
Trauma (dedicated team in place)
Designated Stroke Center
Vascular (possible involvement)
Neuro/Spine (no craniotomies)
Urology, Ortho, GYN, Endoscopy, Robotics
Very little Peds
No transplants
Required Skill: Must be able to perform peripheral nerve blocks
👥 Team & Support
MD-to-CRNA Ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
Support Staff: Anesthesia Techs
Work Environment: Collaborative and flexible – MDs may supervise or perform own cases

Travel & Lodging: Covered (must submit receipts)
Stipend: Not provided

Active North Carolina Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Must be comfortable in high-volume, fast-paced environment
