Anesthesiology Locum – Asheville, NC | $340-400/hr | No Call | FT | Dec Start - CV & General Positions

We’re staffing a high-paying anesthesiology locum in Asheville, NC, starting December 1, 2025 for full-time coverage, no call, and travel/lodging reimbursed. This is a busy tertiary care hospital with high-volume general and OB cases. See full details below:

📍 Location: Asheville, NC
🗓️ Start Date: December 1, 2025
📅 Contract Length: 13+ weeks (6-month commitment preferred)
⏳ Credentialing Timeframe: Standard (requires active NC license)
💰 Pay Rate: $325–$400/hr (1099, all-inclusive)
✈️ Travel & Lodging: Reimbursed with receipts (flights < $800, hotels ≤ $175/night)

🕐 Schedule:
• Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• FT commitment: 4 weeks/month required
• Shifts may be 8s, 10s, or 12s depending on site needs
• No call required

💼 Practice Setting & Case Mix:
• Case types: General, OB, trauma, ortho, urology, neuro/spine, vascular, GYN, robotics – CV at higher rates
• No craniotomies, no transplants
• Must be able to perform peripheral nerve blocks
• Very limited peds; dedicated teams for trauma and cardiac
• MD/CRNA care team model – typical ratio 1:3 or 1:4
• MDs may work their own cases or supervise
• EMR: Cerner + AIMS
• Support staff: CRNAs and Anesthesia Techs

✅ Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active NC medical license required (not open to licensing)
• DEA with NC address
• At least 2 years of anesthesia experience
• Recent tertiary care experience required
• Must be COVID vaccinated (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
