Position Overview
A hospital in North Carolina is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to support a busy care team model. The assignment will last at least 6 months, covering a vacancy while permanent W2 hires are sourced. MDs can work their own cases or provide supervision.
Schedule

Shift: Day shift only (no call)

Options: 8s, 10s, or 12s

Coverage: Monday through Friday, full-time only
Case Mix & Volume

Case Types: OB, trauma, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho, GYN, robotics, spine, endoscopy

Average CV Cases/Day: 10–15

Average General Cases/Month: 3,500–4,000

Special Procedures: Must be able to perform peripheral nerve blocks

Excluded Cases: No craniotomies or transplants (dedicated trauma/cardiac team handles those)

Model: Care Team Model (1 MD : 3–4 CRNAs)
