Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult, OB, and healthy pediatric cases
Setting: Level 2 Trauma Center, OR, OB, CVICU
Responsibilities:

8–12 weeks/year in CVICU with home call coverage

General OR coverage, OB, and healthy peds cases during remaining weeks
-
Shared OR call proportionate to ICU time
-
Teaching and protocol development
Required Procedures: General anesthesia, CVICU care, OB anesthesia
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: APPs, surgical and ICU teams
Days Per Month: Negotiable
On-Call/Weekends: -
Home call during ICU service weeks

Weekend rotation as per ICU/OR schedule
Submission Requirements:
-
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology – Required

Michigan License or Willing to Obtain – Required
-
Fellowship-Trained in Critical Care Medicine – Required

BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA (or willing to obtain) – Required
-
Current COVID and flu vaccinations – Required
-
Clean malpractice and license history – Required
