Cape Anesthesia, an established Private Anesthesia Group for over 40 years, in Cape Girardeau, MO, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Anesthesiologist to join our exceptional team of 11 Anesthesiologists and 24 CRNAs.
Cape Anesthesia contracts with Saint Francis Healthcare System, a 306-bed non-profit healthcare system. Listed by Becker’s as one of the top 20 financially stable Healthcare Systems and Leap Frog Grade A.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical specialties, including obstetrics, cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, etc.
- Perform Regional Anesthesia & Neuraxial, Central Line, Arterial Line Placement
- 4:1 Medical Direction
- EMR: EPIC
Work Schedule:
- Flexible schedule to support work-life balance
- 1st & 2nd call shared equally; 2nd call from home rarely called back
- 1st call averages 1 in 12

Qualifications:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist
- Missouri Physician License or ability to obtain license upon credentialing
- MO BNDD or ability to obtain license upon credentialing
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain upon credentialing
- Ability to manage a variety of anesthetic techniques across different surgical specialties
