Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: Ongoing Assignment
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
- Perk: Free hot lunch provided daily
- Call: None
Practice Setting:
- 140-bed hospital and ambulatory surgery center
- 9 operating rooms
- Average of 60 cases/day across both facilities
- EMR: Allscripts (transitioning to Epic in 2026)
Clinical Details:
- Care Team Model: Typically 3:1 with Anesthesia Techs support for larger cases
- Case Types: Ortho, general surgery, OB, ENT, neuro, trauma (Level II), peds (low acuity only), plastics, endoscopy, urology/cystos
- No Cardiac, No PICU, No NICU
- Patient Population: All ages; pediatric patients are relatively healthy! Higher acuity cases are transported out.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology
- Active IL license or IMLC compact
- Supervision Required
- Credentialing Timeline: 6–8 weeks from submission of a completed file
