Job description
A respected health system in Massachusetts is seeking Board-Certified Anesthesiologists for locum coverage starting September 1, 2025. This opportunity includes a diverse case mix, multi-campus flexibility, and options to work in both hospital and ambulatory settings. Candidates open to general anesthesia are especially encouraged to apply. Licensing support is available for providers with clean backgrounds.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise CRNAs, with occasional solo coverage as needed
- Rotate across multiple campuses including hospital and surgery center environments
- Participate in care for a wide range of cases: general surgery, ortho (including trauma), OB/GYN, thoracic, neuro, vascular, urology, and more
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
- Active or clean background to obtain Massachusetts license
- Comfortable supervising care teams and handling diverse case types
- Willingness to work general cases if primary subspecialty (e.g., cardiac) is not needed
Working Hours
Call shifts may begin at 4:00 PM
OT eligible
Skills
- Ability to adapt across different facility types and case volumes
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Excellent communication and team-based care skills
- Confidence in both supervised and independent practice settings
