Locums Anesthesiology Opening – Manchester, New Hampshire
Location
- Manchester, NH
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 8 months
- Coverage Need: High priority, especially Thursdays and Fridays
- Assignment Outlook: Likely long-term locums due to difficulty recruiting permanent providers
- Day Shift (Anesthesiologists):
- Typically 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- If day shift only: usually ~8 hours, may extend with volume
- Call Coverage:
- Weekdays: Day shift + overnight call (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekends: 24-hour call shifts
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Call Ratio: Approximately 1 day per week
- Call Volume: Variable; dependent on ED activity
- Practice Model: Mixed model
- Some own cases
- Some supervision and room coverage
- CRNA Supervision:
- Typically no more than 3 CRNAs
- Limited by procedural locations within the facility
- OR / Anesthetizing Locations: Approximately 15 (varies by day)
- Trauma Level: Level III (Adult)
- Case Types:
- General Surgery
- Endoscopy
- Cardiac EP
- OB
- Excludes ENT, Pediatrics, Neuro
- CV cases covered by separate cardiac team (not required)
- Anesthesia nurses
- OR support technicians
- Limited administrative/practice support
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- ABA (MD/DO)
