Location: Berlin, VT
Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center
Start Date: ASAP (Preference for long-term locum)
Contract Type: Locum Tenens
Schedule & Call:

Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Call Shifts: 24-hour call (first 10 hours in-house, remainder home call)

Weekend Call: Home call rotation with 20-minute response time

EMR: Epic
Clinical Scope:
-
Daily Volume: 4–5 procedures/day (up to 10 on cataract days)

Case Mix Includes:
-
Ortho (regional anesthesia)
-
OB (spinal/epidural)
-
Central & arterial line placement
-
Airway management
-
Team Structure:
-
Solo practice on non-call days
-
Medical direction of CRNAs & AAs on call days
-
Occasional senior anesthesia resident support
-
Weekday support from surgical team & anesthesia techs
Requirements:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
-
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
-
License: Active Vermont license (Required); must be able to obtain temporary privileges quickly
