JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Physician – Anesthesiologist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Berlin, VT
• Service Setting: Hospital
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: 07/14/2025 – 12/31/2025
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7a – 3p; Pre-call day may involve endo/OB/bronch
• On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call, with first 10 hours in-house then home call
• Call Type: In-House (first 10 hrs), then Home
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes

COVERAGE DATES
• 07/14/2025 – 12/31/2025

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults, OB patients
• Patient Volume/Census: 4–5 cases per day; up to 10/day for cataracts
• Admissions: No
• Case Mix: Orthopedics, OB, Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy

FACILITY INFORMATION
• Trauma Level: Level 3
• EMR System: Epic
• Specialty Backup Available: Surgical staff (after-hours)
• Support Staff Available: Anesthesia tech (weekdays), CRNAs, AAs, senior residents (occasional)
• Reason for Coverage: Long-term locum coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: Expedited preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Rate: TBD

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Regional anesthesia for orthopedic procedures
• Spinal/epidural for OB
• Central lines
• Arterial lines
• Airway procedures as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active VT license preferred
• Board: BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Solo and medical direction of CRNAs and AAs
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic; team player; able to work in small group setting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide solo anesthesia coverage on non-call days
• Provide medical direction of CRNAs and AAs during call days
• Perform and supervise required procedures
• Respond within 20 minutes during home call
