The available locations would more than likely be Tahlequah and Muskogee.

The need is for an endodontist to provide more complex treatment primarily on posterior teeth. This includes a mix of initial therapy and completion treatments. It will be for adult dentition, catering only to patients who can cooperate in the clinical setting. There is a preference to establish a set schedule at Tahlequah or Muskogee, considering residence and travel time.

Requirements: - Dental Licensure, DEA, and other state prescribing licensure - Specialty in Endodontics with experience in full range of care - Conduct 4-6 treatment cases per day

Treatment Focus: - Root canals, primarily more complex cases, including many that have been initiated and need completion

Clinical Setting and Equipment: - All aspects of the clinical setting, including staffing, schedules, and administrative requirements, will be managed by the location - Materials and instruments can be adjusted to accommodate need - A microscope is available

Endodontists' Duties and Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat tooth pain and dental pulp diseases - Perform root canal treatments and other surgical procedures to treat dental pulp - Adhere to protocols and regulations for infection control to protect patients and staff - Use dental imaging technology to examine teeth and diagnose conditions - Apply protective substances to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners - Explain dental procedures and discuss treatment options with patients - Refer patients to other dental specialists when necessary - Prescribe medications to treat dental and oral diseases - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as needed - Maintain patient dental records
