- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. Seeking locum Anesthesiologists with an active California license (required for presentation) who are willing to work a combination of day, night, and weekend shifts; preference given to those open to covering nights and weekends after initial daytime onboarding. Weekday shifts vary from 8 to 12 hours, with overtime paid only after 12 hours and requiring pre-approval by the medical director. Weekend shifts include: Day 1 (7a–7p, 12-hour guarantee), Day 2 (7a–7a, 24-hour second call), and Night (7a–7a, 24-hour call with third call during the day and first call at night). Call is beeper-based and remote on weekends. Permanent CA DEA is preferred but not required. Providers are guaranteed 8 hours per shift.

Job Responsibilities
* Participate in beeper call coverage, with remote call responsibilities on weekends.
* Collaborate with permanent staff and adapt to a rotating shift schedule.
* Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care for various procedures.
Qualifications
* Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
* Willingness to work a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts.
* Permanent California DEA preferred, but not required.
Working Hours
* Weekend Day 1: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. (12-hour guarantee).
* Weekend Day 2: 7 a.m. – 7 a.m. (24-hour second call).
* Weekend Night: 7 a.m. – 7 a.m. (24-hour third call during day and first call at night).
* Providers will begin with day shifts and transition to night coverage once acclimated.

* Strong adaptability to variable shift lengths and emergency call scenarios.
* Excellent communication and teamwork within multidisciplinary environments.
* Ability to manage patient care independently during on-call periods.
