Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Locums - Iowa, Flexible Shifts
This Iowa-based anesthesia opportunity offers shift flexibility and quick onboarding near Des Moines.
Highlights:
- Pick your shift length - 8, 10, 12, or 24 hours
- Minimum 1 week/month - you set the schedule
- Start as soon as credentialed (30-45 days)
Practice Setting:
- Two hospital campuses in Des Moines
- Level II Trauma Center, 28 ORs across facilities
- Mix of solo and some CRNA supervision
- Inpatient-focused role - no outpatient duties
Schedule:
- Work as little as 1 week/month - ongoing
- Day and night shifts available
- Weekend call may be included depending on assignment
- Call: in-house or 30-min beeper, based on site and shift
Cases and Procedures:
- General, ortho, urology, robotics, OB, cardiac, peds
- OB coverage may be required
- Must be confident in spinal, epidural, and regional blocks
- Cardiac and peds experience required to apply
Requirements:
- Board-certified in Anesthesiology
- Iowa license required (emergency privileges available)
- BLS and ACLS required
- TEE cert and peds fellowship only needed if covering those cases
