- Other Details: A facility in Arizona is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist with an active AZ license (IMLC accepted) for day shifts (7:00am–7:00pm) from June 23–26. The provider will work in a hospital and ambulatory surgery center setting alongside CRNAs, with no medical direction required. The department handles ortho, ortho trauma, general, general trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory, and endoscopy cases, with one OB provider assigned daily (not a locum). The hospital has 11 ORs and 2 in the ambulatory center, with an average census of 50–60 patients per day. Cerner and SaAnesthesia are used for charting. Required certifications include ACLS, PALS, and DEA; at least one year of experience is needed, with trauma level I or II experience preferred. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, though exemptions are allowed.

Job Responsibilities
* Collaborate with CRNAs; locums will not medically direct CRNAs
* Utilize EMR systems (Cerner and SaAnesthesia) for documentation
* Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
* Adhere to hospital protocols and compliance guidelines
Qualifications
* Active Arizona medical license (IMLC accepted)
* Minimum one year of anesthesiology experience
* DEA license required
* ACLS and PALS certifications required
* Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
Working Hours
* Dates needed: June 23 – 26
* No block scheduling
* All orientation hours are billable
