Job description
Job Details:
• 2 year experience required.
• Must Name Clear. Provide provider name and NPI number on all subs
• Credentialing turnaround- 4 weeks if they have an IA/IMLC license, maybe less.
• Must be open to working in these environments: 13 ORs, 5 Endo suites, 2 ASC (10 miles away from main hospital)
• 1,200 cases a month
*EMR: Epic
*Case Info: all types of general cases/bread and butter; very limited heads and hearts.
• Do about 700 trauma cases per year, all major trauma goes to the University down the road. Majority trauma is blunt force and agricultural accidents
*No infancy/very young peds cases. Majority of peds cases are tubes and tonsils, they have a busy ENT practice, older “peds” might be a middle or high school kid needing an orthopedic surgery or their appendix taken out
Call details:
• Some must be available to take occasional call (weekend and overnights). Will share call duties with a handful of other docs. This is likely not a fit for very call hungry Docs.
• Call schedules when on call: general 1500-0700
NOTES ON CALL: Call will be minimal. Call will not be guaranteed. There will be 10 call shifts up for grabs between M-F, split between 25 docs per week. Less than half of the providers scheduled in a week will get call for that week. Please disclose this upfront.
