We are seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage at a critical access facility in Clewiston, FL. Please see full job details below.
Job Responsibilities
• First coverage date: July 13
• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, switching Sundays at 7am
• Solo-provider model: 1 MD covering daily
• OR hours: 7a–3p, followed by call from 3p–7a
• Call every night and weekend while on rotation
Qualifications
• Florida medical license required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required
• DEA required
• Proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and regional blocks
• Must provide case logs for spinals, blocks, and epidurals
Working Hours
• Daily 7a–3p in OR + 3p–7a call
• Call every weeknight and weekend while on
Skills
• Proficient in TAP, interscalene, femoral/adductor canal, popliteal, ankle blocks, central lines, spinals
• Medaxion EMR
• 30-minute call response time
• Must be vaccinated or have religious/medical exemption
