Locum Physician – Anesthesiology in Adams County, IL.

We are hiring a Physician – Anesthesiology for a locum assignment in Adams County, IL!

Job details:

• Start: 06/02/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks - Ongoing
• Shift: 5, Day (8 Hours) 7:00 - 3:30
• No Call
• Support staff: CRNAs (usually 3 CRNAs per 1 MD), Anesthesia Techs at the main hospital (set up and have everything ready for all the bigger cases)
• Care Team Model
• Hospital Volume: Average about 60 cases per day between the main hospital and the surgery center
• Patient population/age: All ages, NO PICU -(relatively healthy peds - not high acuity - they get transported), NO NICU (if there is a concern with a baby - they will transport)
• Department description:
  • Ortho
  • Peds (low acuity only)
  • Trauma (Level II Facility)
  • Neuro
  • Plastics, OB
  • General surg
  • ENT
  • Endoscopies
  • A lot of total joints
  • Urology/cystos - no Cardiac
• EMR: All Scripts right now - early stages of epic beginning in 2026
• Supervision Required: Yes
• Practice Setting:
  • Hospital
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• IL license or IMLC
