Anesthesiology – Locum Tenens
Location: MCHS Hospital – Weston, Wisconsin
Facility: Marshfield Clinic Health System

Position Details:

Coverage includes both inpatient and outpatient settings

Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call

Call ratio: 1:4 (weekday and weekend rotation)

Call response time: 20 minutes
-
Support staff includes CRNAs and anesthesia techs
-
Supervision of CRNAs required
-
EMR: Cerner
-
Anesthesia equipment: Drager machines, Omnicell for med dispensing
Case Types:

General Anesthesia
-
OB/Epidurals
-
MAC
-
Electives
-
Intubations, IV placements
-
Spinal and Regional Anesthesia
-
Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma (no cardiac)
Requirements:
-
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
-
ACLS, BLS, ATLS, ABLS, and PALS required
-
Must be comfortable supervising CRNAs
-
Fellowship not required
-
No license required to bid
Credentialing:
