Job Title: Cardiac Anesthesiologist
Join a reputable private practice in Albany, New York, where you will provide high-quality anesthesia care within a well-established facility. This practice, part of a large anesthesia group in the region, has been delivering compassionate care for over forty years. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of new cardiac surgeons in a high-volume inpatient heart center.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG and valve replacements.
- Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of anesthesia protocols.
- Cover cases at St. Peter's Hospital and Samaritan Hospital campuses.
- Adhere to a variable schedule with potential shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours.
- Engage with a patient demographic primarily consisting of adults and geriatrics.
- Average 6-8 cardiac cases per day.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesia.
- ECHO Board Certification and/or completed a Cardiac Fellowship.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to compassionate patient care.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Open to H-1B visa candidates.
License and Certification Requirements:
- New York Medical License (or willing to obtain).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
