Job Description:

Schedule: Flexible. 1.0 FTE is roughly 2200 hours annually (including all types of call) and is made up of day, evening, overnight, etc

Case types: General and complex range of cases, including orthopedic (elective + trauma), gynecology, ENT, complex vascular, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology including EP and structural heat, and full scope cardiothoracic cases. We also provide anesthesia support to our patients in radiology. There is a full obstetrical practice with plenty of epidural opportunities.

The facility utilizes peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques to reach enhanced recovery goals with our surgical colleagues. Candidates are expected to be proficient or will be trained to perform many of the basic peripheral nerve blocks (e.g. popliteal, saphenous, adductor canal, erector spinae, TAP, brachial plexus blocks etc).
Job requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible (will become Board Certified within 2 years) in Anesthesiology

MI license (or willing to obtain)

DEA (or willing to obtain)
-
ACLS & BLS (or willing to obtain)
