Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia for a variety of outpatient procedures in office-based and ASC settings (GI, plastics, ortho, gyn, dental, and more)

Conduct pre-op evaluations and collaborate with patients and surgical teams to determine appropriate anesthetic plans

Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage post-anesthesia recovery in low-acuity environments

Ensure patient safety and comfort in accordance with established clinical guidelines and Mobile Anesthesiologists’ standards

Document anesthesia care thoroughly and accurately in the EMR system

Collaborate with mobile support staff for seamless setup, breakdown, and coordination of daily cases

Travel locally to assigned procedure sites throughout the Chicago area

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility-specific regulations and best practices

Qualifications

🔹 Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA)

Active Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain one)

Current ACLS/BLS certification

Experience in outpatient or office-based anesthesia preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable transportation for local travel to procedure sites

Working Hours

🔹 Working Hours:
Monday through Friday schedule

No nights, weekends, or call

Typical workday: arrive by 6:30–7:00 AM, finish by 1:00–3:00 PM

Average 35–37 clinical hours per week

Flexibility available for part-time scheduling (2–4 days/week)
