Patient Population: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

Setting: Silver Cross Hospital, Level II Trauma Center, 10 ORs

Responsibilities:
-
Provide anesthesia care within an MD/CRNA team model
-
Perform general surgical anesthesia, IV regional, spinal, epidural, OB cases, neurosurgical cases
-
Nerve blocks are performed by MDs
-
Pre-ops mainly done by MDs unless it’s a MAC case
-

Required Procedures: General anesthesia, regional anesthesia, spinal and epidural anesthesia, OB cases, neurosurgical cases
-
EMR System: Cerner
-
Support Staff: 13 MDs, 20+ CRNAs
-
Days Per Month: Full-time with weekend coverage

On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call, approximately 2-3 times per month (with incentives)
Submission Requirements:

Required:

Board Certified in Anesthesiology

IL License (or willing to obtain)

DEA Verbal Confirmation and CSR (or willing to obtain)
-
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willing to obtain)

COVID and Flu Vaccinations

US Trained and Boarded
