JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Generalists should feel comfortable performing a wide variety of cases including orthopedics, GYN, community OB, abdominal cases, general vascular, and kidney transplants. -Generalists are NOT required to perform cardiac cases or treat small children -Participate in the academic activities of the department which may include teaching and mentoring -Calls are expected to be 3-4 overnight calls per month (some calls may be from home).
