Perm Pediatric Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Pueblo, CO at UCHealth
UCHealth, in partnership with the established and expanding Anesthesia Department in Pueblo, Colorado, is seeking a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our dedicated team. Position Overview:
- Full-Time, Permanent Role
- Location: 400 West 16th Street, Pueblo, CO 81003
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at 6:30 AM and typically concluding between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. Occasional extended hours until 6-7 PM may occur. No night or weekend in-house shifts; overnight and weekend coverage are provided by dedicated Nocturnist and weekend anesthesiology team members.
- Patient Care Focus: Providing anesthesia services across a broad spectrum of pediatric cases, with supervision and collaboration within a skilled team of CRNAs and specialists.
- Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality anesthetic care for pediatric patients across various surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Supervising and collaborating with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Managing own cases as appropriate within a supportive clinical environment.
- Participating in on-call rotations (divided at 1:8 ratio), providing backup support for trauma and acute care emergencies.
- Engaging in continuous quality improvement and adapting to evolving healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible for Board Certification in Anesthesiology, with a focus or experience in pediatric anesthesia preferred.
- Must reside within 30 minutes of Pueblo, CO.
- Candidate must be interested in a permanent placement; this position is not compatible with locum tenens assignments.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Salary Range: $457,000 – $500,000 annually, commensurate with experience
