Anesthesiology opening in Plattsburgh, NY (Permanent) This is a full time, permanent position. Opportunity Details: Full-time hospital-employed Anesthesiology position Primarily practice in Plattsburgh with occasional coverage at a partner hospital approximately one hour away Join an established team of anesthesiologists, per diem physicians, and CRNAs Broad case mix including: General Surgery Gastroenterology Orthopedics Urology Thoracic Surgery Vascular Surgery Plastic Surgery ENT Dental Ophthalmology Obstetrics & Gynecology No neurosurgery or cardiac surgery cases Practice includes 9 main operating rooms, a 4-room ambulatory surgery center, labor & delivery, GI suite, and limited off-site anesthesia locations Annual surgical volume of approximately 19,000 cases Call Schedule: First call: 3–4 nights per month Second call: 2–3 nights per month Weekend call: Approximately 1 weekend every 6–8 weeks Home call with a 15-minute response time Post first-call day off provided Light second-call responsibilities Equitably shared late shifts and holiday coverage Requirements: MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits Relocation assistance Supportive, collegial practice environment Location: Plattsburgh, NY is a scenic community on the shores of Lake Champlain with easy access to the Adirondack Mountains Close to Lake Placid, Burlington, VT, and Montreal, Canada Offers outstanding outdoor recreation, excellent schools, and a family-friendly lifestyle
