Join Our Anesthesia Team in Muskegon, Michigan!

We are seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time Physician to join our professional Anesthesia Team in Muskegon, Michigan. This state-of-the-art facility is a designated Level 2 trauma center, featuring 20 operating rooms and a diverse range of cases, perfect for an anesthesiologist looking to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide medical direction over CRNAs while also having the opportunity to personally perform anesthesia.
• Work with a variety of cases, including orthopedic, gynecology, ENT, vascular, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic.
• Participate in anesthesia support for radiology and obstetrical practices, with ample epidural opportunities.
• Contribute to the Surgical Optimization Service, ensuring a comprehensive review of patients prior to surgery.
• Utilize advanced regional techniques and peripheral nerve blocks to enhance patient recovery.
• Share and rotate on-call duties among the group to maintain flexibility.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (must become Board Certified within 2 years).
• Interest in full-time or part-time employment.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn in basic peripheral nerve blocks.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Michigan License or willingness to obtain.
• DEA License or willingness to obtain.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications or willingness to obtain.
