Clinical Information
- Hospital setting
- Patient volume: varies daily, average 10-15 cases
- Support staff: 3 MD, 12 APP, AM, and PM anesthesia tech
- Care Team model
- Ultrasound regional anesthesia, Ultrasound Vascular access, OB Anesthesia and Thoracic Anesthesia
- Supv main OR, perform own cases in OB.
- The Physician ran OB Labor Epidural service Physician performs labor epidurals.
- Supervision ratio 1:4
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active FL License
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions are only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
Call
- Weekday call is IN HOUSE, starting at 3 pm, and ending at 7 am
- Weekend call is IN HOUSE, either Sat or Sun 7 am - to 7 am
- Weekend calls can be taken consecutively, if desired. It is generally taken as a Sat on week one, Sun on week two, no additional weekend calls for 4 weeks thereafter.
