Coverage Needed

• ASAP - ongoing
• 24 Estimated shifts/month
• 2 - 3 weeks per month with weeknight and weekend call

Schedule

• 8hr shifts: Mon - Fri 7a - 3p
• 10hr shifts: Mon - Fri 7a - 5p
• Weekday call: 5p - 7a
• Weekend call: 7a - 7a

Clinical Details

• Temp privileges available
• Work in a care team model
• 50% Solo
• See patients starting at pre-op and manage/work case through to finish
• 50% Supervision: supervise CRNA starting at pre-op
  • Supervising a ratio of 1:3 to 1:4 nurse anesthetists throughout the day
• Mostly inpatient - 85%
• 50% Adults, 50% Peds
• Typical cases: mostly bread and butter ortho, GS, neuro, gyn, podiatry, urology, plus pediatrics, L&D, and cardiac

Requirements

• Active PA License
  • will accept candidates needing to obtain a license
• 1 Minimum year experience
• DEA
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Must be available 2 - 3 weeks a month (4 - 5 nights a week) with night and weekend call to be considered
• Must be familiar with EPIC
• Must be willing to handle solo cases as well as supervise
