Medstaff is assisting with Anesthesiology coverage for a client in Normal, IL.
Here are the details:
- Must be Board Certified in Anesthesia with an IL License or proof of IMLC, IL CDS, DEA and an AHA BLS
- Typically, locum would work the day shifts of 7a-3p, 7a-5p or 6:30a-4:30p, but occasionally may be asked to work evening/night shift of 3p-10p.
- Possibility to take overnight 2nd call when working the evening shift
- Duties will include a mix of surgeries, supervising CRNA's, rounding, consults, follow ups
- Must be proficient in standard Anesthesia procedures to include but not limited to central lines, art lines, epidurals
- Hearts preferred, along with some OB and standard bread-and-butter cases.
- EMR is EPIC
- Requires proof of COVID vaccination and clean background to be able to expedite credentialing
- Start date is based on credentialing, minimal 3-month commitment, can be ongoing
