- Dates: ASAP - ongoing
- Commitment length is 6 months with 30-day notice
- Schedule: Full-time only with OB Call
- Shifts: 8’s, 10’s, 12’s, 24’s
- Call frequency is as much as willing to give
- Call type is in-house and beeper (e.g., Cardiac, Neuro, Transplant, etc.)
- Must be comfortable supervising CRNA (2/3) and performing own cases (1/3)
- Ratio when stable 1:0, 0:1, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
- Case Types: General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Vascular, Urology, Gynecology, Transplants, Neuro (heads and spine), Cardiac (TEE), NORA: GI, Cath lab, Interventional Radiology etc.
- Skill Sets: Epidural, spinal, regional (brachial plexus, fem-sciatic, ankle, wrist, etc.) with ultrasound
- # MD’s and # CRNA’s in practice: 25 MD’s / 50 CRNA
- # locums total ~ 25 MD | ~30 CRNA (depends on retention
- EMR: Cerner and migrating to Epic in Spring
- Specialties Welcomed: Transplant anesthesia, Neuroanesthesia, Cardiac anesthesia, Trauma anesthesia
- Requirements: Licensed in TN and/or MS (ideally both), DEA, Must be BC, if cardiac (TEE certified), BLS, ACLS, PALS, Must have at least 1 year of experience
