A health system is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:00pm. The schedule is 7 days on/7 days off. The schedule is shared with one additional anesthesiologist. CRNAs are first call with Anesthesiologists present for all in-operating room procedures but no participation in placement or management of labor epidurals or out-of-operating room procedural sedation procedures. There will be 24-hour call on the weekends. There will be 10% inpatient and 90% outpatient. The cases include General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Optometry, Pediatric Dental, and Endoscopy (pediatrics > age 2). There will be no Robotic, Vascular Surgery, or ICU/Critical Care duties. The clinician must be able to provide anesthesia independently and be comfortable providing Pediatric Anesthesia to healthy children.
