Job description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team located in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will provide anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the perioperative period. This is a temporary position, and the duration of the assignment will be 8 weeks starting on March 10, 2024.
Job Responsibilities
• Monitor and manage patient vital signs during surgery, making adjustments as necessary to ensure a safe and stable anesthesia experience.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Educate patients about the anesthesia process, address their questions and alleviate concerns.
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• New York State medical license
• Proven experience as an Anesthesiologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Working Hours
• Fifteen to eighteen procedures per day with a Gastroenterological Group
• Part-time and Full-time positions
• 7am-4pm Monday – Friday (Full-time)
• 7am-4pm Monday & Thursday (Part-time)
