**Faculty Critical Care Anesthesiology Opening in Tyler, TX**
Dallas 98m
Seeking a BE/BC Critical Care Anesthesiologist to join our health system comprised of 10 hospitals and more than 70 physician clinics.
* Physician will practice at hospitals (primarily at one) both in Tyler with exposure to a wide variety of post-operative cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients.
* Teaching responsibilities may include participation on service with internal medicine residents and family medicine residents and eventually anesthesia residents and medical students.
* We anticipate our anesthesia residency training program to begin June 2024.
* Research is not necessary, but the opportunity is available to clinical faculty.
**Facility**
* 501 bed, level I trauma center, tertiary hospital, 74-bed ICU capacity
* Medical staff of more than 600 physicians including a full complement of subspecialty physicians
* The ICU is fortunate to have a full-time staff of dedicated critical care PAs.
* Point-of-care ultrasound is utilized, as well as other state of the art critical care skills.
* Medical/surgical, neurologic, cardiac and trauma ICUs
* Dedicated stroke center
* Interventional and neuro-interventional radiology
* Ion robot for bronchoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS
