Leadership Opportunity in a New Employed Program -Jacksonville, FLHCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Anesthesiologist to help lead the dynamic team at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
Memorial is a 454 bed, acute care medical facility that is proud to be recognized as a Certified Stroke Center, an accredited Chest Pain Center and Center of Excellence for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Memorial is also the first hospital in Jacksonville to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement Certification.
In August, 2021 HCA Physician Services Group transitioned this program to an employed group and our goal is to create a supportive, productive clinical environment where team members thrive and can focus on providing outstanding patient care.
The ideal candidate will be a highly effective communicator- one that is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and able to successfully partner with facility leadership and ancillary departments. This individual will embrace whole-team accountability for reliable and efficient facilitation of surgical workflow in a dynamic environment. They will also have a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards and for developing a team geared for growth. Previous leadership experience in a large community hospital environment strongly preferred.
Highlights include:
- • Staffing model of 12 Anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs covering an average of 20 sites of service daily; approx. 18,000 total cases per year
- • Diverse case mix and complexities including, General Surgery, Trauma, Endo, Ortho, OB, GYN, Neuro, Spine, Cardiac, Vascular, Bariatric, Robotics, etc.
- Cardiac Capable Preferred
- • Supervision of CRNAs in all environments of care
- • Regional Block proficiency to support robust opioid-sparing and ERAS programs
