Aya Locums has an immediate opening for the following position: Locum Physician - Specialty: Anesthesiology in Salem, VA - $185.00 to $200.00

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 4-6 months

Shift Details: 7a-5p

Schedule: We only need weekday daytime coverage. No night shifts, weekends or call coverage needed

Work Details:

· Support Staff: RN’s, Certified Surgical Technologists, and a limited number of Licensed Surgical Assistants. CRNA SUPERVISION WILL BE REQUIRED

· Patients per day: On average, 25-35 cases per day in the OR

· Department Description: Typical cases – GI, Oph, GS, Ortho, ENT (including peds)

· EMR: No other EMR other than Meditech. We chart with paper anesthesia records

· Hospital Bed size: 11 + 2 cardiac OR’s

· Skills Required: Standard type cases (gen Surg, Endo, gyn, ortho, spine, robotics, uro, OB). Spinal experience is preferred, but no required. No cardiac, epidural or peripheral nerve block experience is necessary
