Anesthesiology Associate Program Director (APD) will assist the Program Director in various aspects of the administration of the residency to ensure a rich learning environment and curriculum which meets or exceeds all ACGME requirements. The APD will report to the PD for residency-related works. The position is a 20% non-clinical role.
The Program in Anesthesiology is the training program embedded in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine.
The residency is ACGME-accredited for 60 residents and currently recruits ten (10) PYG1 residents and five (5) PGY2 residents each year to form clinical anesthesia year classes of 15 resident physicians.

  • The program is administered centrally with additional rotational experience at the university hospitals, as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MD or DO from an Accredited Program.

  • Board-certified in Anesthesiology
  • The ability to obtain a medical license in the Commonwealth of PA prior to start date
  • Three years post-residency with leadership experience in medical education (GME or UME) preferred.
