A hospital client of Solomon Page, located in Tacoma, WA is in search of multiple Anesthesiologists to start as soon as credentialed for 3-6 months.

  • Flexible schedule
  • 10, 12, & 14 hour shifts only (No 8 hour shifts available).
  • Starting ASAC for 3-6 months.
  • Providers with varying amounts of availability will be considered
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Support Staff: CRNAs
Required Procedures:
Candidates must be able to do OB, Trauma, etc., for general anesthesia.
  • General Anesthesia

  • Spinal Anesthesia
  • Epidural Anesthesia
  • Obstetrical Cases
  • Neurosurgical Cases; Head & Spine
  • Open Heart Anesthesia
  • Thoracic Cases
  • Complex Vascular Cases
  • Complex Orthopedic Cases
  • Post-Op
  • Use of ultra-sound in placement of blocks
  • Ventilation mgmt
  • Eval and mgmt of acute volume/BP issues
  • Arterial line placements
Percentage of cases per day:
  • 35% general
  • 15% OB
  • 15% Neuro
  • 10% Cardiac
  • 10% Thoracic
  • 10% Complex Vascular
  • 15% Complex Orthopedic
Preferred Procedures:
  • General Anesthesia
  • Regional Anesthesia Surgery
  • Post Op extremity blocks
  • PA Catheter placement
NOT Required:
  • Neonatal
  • Epidural steroid for
  • Lumbar
  • Cervical
  • Transforaminal
  • Lumbar
  • Cervical
  • Use of x ray guidance in performance of blocks
  • CRNA Supervision
Additional Details:
  • Other Anesthesiologist present during locum coverage
  • Will NOT be required to supervise CRNAs
  • Trauma Level: 2
  • Total number of beds: 350
  • Operating Rooms: 16
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days - will attempt to expedite.

Requirements:
  • License: active WA license required -- OR -- IMLC only w/ certification in hand.
  • Board Certified: Required or truly Board Eligible as it is through the American Osteopathic Association or the American Board of Specialties.
  • Active ACLS, BLS
  • Clean Malpractice/Background: Highly preferred
  • Covid vaccinated
