Position: Locum Tenens MD Anesthesiologist
Location: Massachusetts
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 5 days per week (Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Call Rotation: 3 first calls and 3 second calls per month (24-hour shifts)

About Us: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum MD Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative team of medical professionals in Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with a larger team of MDs to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Perform day-to-day anesthesiology duties, including preoperative evaluations, administering anesthesia, and ensuring patient safety.
  • Participate in call rotation, with 3 first calls and 3 second calls each month.
  • Spend approximately 25% of practice time supervising CRNAs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Oversee anesthesiology procedures in 6 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy suite.
  • Utilize the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to maintain accurate patient records.

Required Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
  • Proficiency in a variety of procedures including General, Plastics, Endoscopy, and OB/GYN cases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
  • Flexibility to work day shifts and participate in call rotation.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
