- Start ASAP upon credentialing
- Duration of need: 3 to 6 months
- Shifts: 10 to 12 hour (no 8-hour shifts)
- Must be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and call
- EMR: EPIC
- Required procedures: Advanced PTEEXAM, Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography, TAVRTestamur required, diplomate preferred
- Preferred procedures: CABG, minimally invasive valve replacement
- Setting: Inpatient
- Trauma Level: 2
- Total number of beds: 350
- Operating Rooms: 16
- How many cardiac cases per week will the provider do? about 5 per week
- No liver transplants
- If no cardiac cases, the provider will take over the general cases that come in for the day they are scheduled.
- Support Staff: CRNAs
- Other Anesthesiologists present during locum coverage
- Will not be required to supervise CRNAs
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days - will attempt to expedite
- License: active WA license required -- OR -- IMLC only w/ certification in hand.
- Board Certified: Required - or - truly Board Eligible as it is through the American Osteopathic Association or the American Board of Specialties.
