  • Weekdays (1:4)
  • Weekend (1:4)
  • MD on call with in-house CRNA
• General Anes, Spinals/Epidurals, Regional, OB, Neuro (spine), Complex Vascular (except Open Heart), Complex Ortho
• 94 Deliveries per month
• Does NOT need to do central and arterial lines but they may be asked to provide sedation for patients who are receiving those procedures.
• No Hearts, No Thoracic, Head, some spine
• EPIC EMR
• 5 Anesthesiologists + 15 CRNA’s on Staff
• Care Team Model: CRNA’s are Medically Supervised (1:3)

• Mon – Fri, 7a – 3p
• Call:
  • Weekdays (1:7)
  • Weekend (1:5)
  • MD on call with in-house CRNA
• General Anes, Spinals/Epidurals, Regional, heavy OB, Neuro (spine),
• 101 Deliveries monthly
• CRNA does manage the epidural once the Anesthesiologist places it
• No Hearts, No Thoracic, Head, some spine
• EPIC EMR
• 5 Anesthesiologists + 15 CRNA’s on Staff
• Care Team Model: CRNA’s are Medically Supervised (1:3)

Anesthesiologist Locum Needed | Virginia

Northern VA - 1 hour from Charlottesville and 2.5 hours from Washington DC

• Anesthesiologist needed for locum assignment through end of Summer, possibly beyond
• Monday-Friday shifts with some weeknight and weekend call available
• 14 OR's + OB rooms
• Estimated 5-6 cases per day
• Can do 8 or 10 hour shifts
• No call required but is available should provider be interested
• Care team model with 12MDs and 6 CRNAs (1:3 Ratio)
• Anesthesia techs available turning over ORs
• General cases, OBGYN, Ortho, ENT, Vascular, Urology, Healthy peds, and Dental
• No heads or hearts
• CRNA's will place epidurals, spinals, arterial lines, and administer medication
• Must have clean background
• ACLS, BLS,
• EPIC EMR
