Anesthesia Critical Care in Birmingham Metro!

Seeking 2 BC/BE Anesthesia Critical Care physician for and existing practice of 5 Pulmonary Critical Care physicians.

The Practice:

• Board Eligible/Certified in Anesthesiology and Critical Care with successful completion of fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine
• 7 on / 7 off Block Schedule
• Hospital employed position with 6 APPs to provider 24/7 coverage
• Covering ICUs on a consulting basis initially with an end goal of intensivist as attending of record
• Provide procedural expertise in airway management, line placement and CV monitoring
• Provide leadership of daily ICU multidisciplinary rounds and supervision of APPs during clinical shifts.
• High acuity ICU with advanced Cardiac: Impella, IABP, ECMO, proning for ARDS, SLED, CRRT
• Strong program in non-invasive ventilation, utilization of latest ventilator models
