**Pediatric Anesthesia Opportunity in Tucson, AZ**
Physician-only private practice anesthesia group that has served the Tucson community for 44 years. It is comprised of over 40 physicians, all of whom are board certified or board eligible by The American Board of Anesthesiology. Group is the exclusive anesthesia provider at a large tertiary-care community hospital that serves a diverse and growing population and performs all surgical cases with the exception of trauma, organ transplants, and pediatric hearts. Group is one of the busiest obstetric, orthopedic, cardiac, and pediatric facilities in the state of Arizona. We have a full complement of board-certified pediatric surgeons, urologists, gastroenterologists, ENT, and orthopedic surgeons.
Group is seeking to expand our pediatric anesthesia sub-group. All our current pediatric specialists are fellowship trained and/or board certified in pediatric anesthesia. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria (both experienced physicians and new fellows are welcome to apply):
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Fellowship Trained/Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology
Package includes a competitive starting salary; a two-year partnership tract; an excellent benefits package including pension plan, medical insurance, disability insurance; and six weeks of vacation the first year. Our group is set up to allow excellent work-balance.
Over 3000 pediatric cases a year. Group is actively expanding its pediatric subspecialties and is in the process of being approved for a pediatric residency. If interested, pediatric anesthesiologists at OPA can be considered faculty.
