Locums | Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology | Tacoma, WA (any state license accepted) Why This Role

  • Any state license accepted (WA obtained during credentialing)
  • Pediatric cardiac anesthesia subspecialty
  • Low daily surgical volume (~1 case/day)
  • Supports cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging
  • Ongoing need, multiple providers accepted — locums-to-perm potential
Assignment Details Start/end: ASAP, ongoing Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours + call; beeper call, 30-min response, 1:2 ratio Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call, inpatient Volume: Typically 1 surgery patient/day; 3-4 seen on call; 8 ORs; 22 beds Setting: Children's hospital; also supports a cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging; surgery types include cardiac, complete ortho, head/spine, neuro, pediatric, thoracic Support: 3 RNs EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~120 days Clinical Details Required scope: Pediatric general anesthesia, open-heart anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, central and arterial line placement Preferred scope: Neonatal general anesthesia, pain management, post-op epidural and extremity blocks, acute volume/BP management Requirements Board certified, fellowship-trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology License: any state accepted ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
