An exciting locum opportunity is now open for experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologists looking to work in a high-volume, Level 1 pediatric trauma setting in sunny South Florida! 🌴

• 🗓️ Start Window: May – Early July 2026
• ⏳ Ongoing Assignment
• 🏥 Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center
• 🛏️ ~298 beds | 11 Operating Rooms
• 💻 EMR: Epic
• 🔄 Flexible Options: FT / PT / PRN

⏰ Schedule & Work Setup

• 🕖 Shifts: Monday – Friday (7 AM – 3 PM or 7 AM – 5 PM)
• 📅 Optional Weekend Shifts (7 AM – 5 PM)
• 🚫 No On-Call Required
• ⚖️ Care Model: 1 MD : 2 CRNAs
• 🔄 Supervision Mix: 50% medical direction / 50% solo

🩺 Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage a wide range of pediatric anesthesia cases
• Start with routine/healthy cases, progressing to higher acuity
• 🫀 Option to support pediatric cardiac (Cath/EP) if experienced

Common Case Types:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• GU
• ENT
• Dental

Procedures Include:

• 💉 IV placement
• 🧠 Regional anesthesia (preferred, not required)

• 📈 ~800 cases per month
• 👶 Patient Mix: 60% sick / 40% healthy
• 🤝 Team-based, collaborative environment
• 🔄 Cross-credentialing across multiple sites

✅ Requirements

• ✔️ Board Certified ONLY (No BE)
• ✔️ Active Florida License
• ✔️ Pediatric Fellowship Required
• ✔️ Minimum 2 years of experience
• ✔️ Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

• 🌎 Must be an Out-of-State Candidate
• 🚫 No providers who worked at this site or affiliated sites in the past 24 months
• 🚫 No recent association with nearby Envision sites
