Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment at a hospital-based Level I Trauma Center. This is a full-time, weekday-only position in a high-acuity, high-volume operating room environment. The assignment runs from August 10 through November 16, 2026, with no call, no weekends, and no pain clinic responsibilities.
The physician will provide anesthesia services across a broad patient population ranging from neonatal to adult, working both independently and in a care team model supervising CRNAs.

Compensation

Pay Rate: $350/Hr

Job Responsibilities
Manage complex cases including:
Thoracic surgery (excluding open heart)
Complex orthopedic procedures
Neurosurgical cases
Perform and manage ventilation and airway care
Insert and manage arterial lines (preferred)
Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
Supervise CRNAs in a care team model, as well as practice solo when needed
Deliver pediatric anesthesia services to all subspecialties except cardiac surgery and transplant surgery
Qualifications
Active OH medical license (highly preferred)
Current certifications:
BLS (required)
ACLS (required)
PALS (required)
Demonstrated experience with:
Neonatal, pediatric, and adult anesthesia
Thoracic, neurosurgical, and complex orthopedic cases
Self-Query NPDB (pulled within one month at the time application)
Must meet established rate requirements
