We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment covering a maternity leave at a hospital-based operating room setting in Dayton, Ohio. This is a high-acuity, well-supported environment with a predictable weekday schedule and no call.

Annual ER Volume: ~70,000

Average Surgical Volume: 50–60 cases per day
Care is delivered through a care team model, with a mix of solo cases and CRNA supervision.

Collegial, experienced team of RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists, and APPs

No responsibility for anesthesia cart preparation

Neonatal, Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric

Job Responsibilities
Required:
General surgical anesthesia (Neonatal, Pediatric, Adult)
Thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
Complex orthopedic cases
Neurosurgical cases
Ventilation management
Preferred:
Pediatric anesthesia services across all subspecialties (excluding cardiac and transplant surgery)
Arterial line placement
Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
Qualifications
Board Certified – Pediatric Anesthesiology (Required)
BLS, ACLS, PALS (Required)
Active Ohio license (Highly Preferred)
Self-Query NPDB (pulled within 30 days at time of presentation) (Required)
