Pediatric Anesthesiology opening in West Palm Beach, FL Fort Lauderdale 46m Seeking an experienced, pediatric fellowship trained, Assistant Facility Medical Director. The Assistant Facility Medical Director oversees the physician scheduling, serves as anesthesia representation at facility meetings, is responsive to surgeon and administration needs, as well as aids the facility medical director ensuring compliance with protocols and practice standards. * Full-time * Cases including neonates, general, ortho, OB, trauma, ENT, podiatry, urology, plastics, and MRI sedation * Half of the surgical volume involves pediatric cases (Level 3 NICU, pediatric ICU, and 24-hour children's hospital) * On-call duties involve backup pager coverage from home (7p-7a) and participation in the rotation of Saturday/Sunday 7a-7p day shifts; post call day off; on-call shifts are evenly rotated among 7 physicians * Board certification required Compensation & Benefits * Generous compensation package with a base cash compensation of $570,000 * $125,000 sign-on bonus for a 3-year commitment in addition to the base salary * Variety of health and wellness benefit options to choose from * Benefits package includes medical, dental and vision, life and disability * 10 weeks of PTO * 401k, Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan, HSA, flexible spending and resources for living (EAP) * Professional liability insurance with tail and a generous clinician referral program The city of Mangonia Park, Florida, is a part of the Miami Metropolitan and Uptown West Palm areas offering easy access to West Palm Beach and Riviera Beach!
