Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Pain Management Physician to join a busy outpatient pain management clinic in Sacramento, California. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based pain care in a collaborative environment.
The practice is open to experienced physicians, new graduates, and fellowship-trained candidates who are passionate about interventional pain management and improving patient quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical exams

Diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions and develop individualized treatment plans

Perform interventional pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and botulinum toxin treatments

Utilize imaging studies (CT and diagnostic radiology) to support diagnosis and procedural planning

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, psychiatry, orthopedics, and other specialists

Manage outpatient pain cases, including post-operative and palliative care patients

Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (Epic preferred) in compliance with HIPAA

Apply evidence-based practices and remain current with advancements in pain medicine
Compensation:

Salary Range: $250,000 – $350,000 per year

Qualifications:

MD or DO (Board-Eligible or Board-Certified)

Training or experience in Pain Medicine or related specialties (Anesthesiology, Neurology, PM&R)

Experience or training in interventional pain procedures preferred

Open to new graduates and fellowship candidates

Active medical license required (must be in hand at start)

Active DEA required (must be in hand at start)

Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
