Position Type: Permanent

Location: New York
Shift: Variable 8, 10 & 12 Hour Shifts
Start Date: ASAP Upon Credentialing
End Date: Permanent Opportunity

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric & Some Pediatric Patients
Setting: High Volume Inpatient Heart Center
Responsibilities: Providing anesthesia care for cardiac and vascular procedures, pre-operative evaluations, post-operative management, and collaboration with cardiac surgeons & multidisciplinary teams
Required Procedures: CABG, Valve Replacements, Cardiac & Vascular Surgeries, Regional & General Anesthesia
EMR System: Facility EMR System
Support Staff: Cardiac Surgeons, CRNAs, OR Staff & Cardiac Care Team
Days Per Month: Full-Time Coverage
On-Call/Weekends: Shared 1:5 Call Rotation

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • ECHO Board Certification and/or Cardiac Fellowship Training Required
  • Active New York License or Willing to Obtain
  • BLS, ACLS & PALS Required by Start Date
